Equinox-Fractional CO2 Laser

Bringing Healthy Skin to Light

Fractional CO2 laser transforms damaged and aged skin to a youthful appearance in just one treatment.

Equinox uses CO2 laser energy to deliver microscopic beams of light to the skin.  When the light is delivered to the surface of the skin, micro-treatment zones are created.  Each zone is surrounded by small sections of untreated skin.  The untreated skin creates a platform to facilitate healing by synthesizing new collagen and elastin fibers. This new growth of the body’s collagen will strengthen the skin’s underlying support structure and help the skin to retexture itself.  With minimal downtime, the skin will regain youthful elasticity and a healthy skin complexion will come to light!

The Treatment Experience

When each pulse of laser energy is administered, patients will feel a very warm prickling sensation.  The treated area will look and feel like a sunburn.  Topical anesthetics and cooling devices may be utilized to reduce any discomfort during and after the process.

Time to Treat

Facial treatments require around 30 minutes to complete, other areas may vary.

Post Treatment Care

Hydration of the skin is essential.  Eat right, drink lots of water and be diligent about applying the topical ointments prescribed by your physician.  Staying out of the sun is also important.  Sun exposure can slow the recovery process and possibly cause skin discoloration.
