Wrinkle Reduction and Skin Tightening With
CoolBreeze Laser Can Be a Lunchtime Procedure!

The CoolBreeze is for the patient who doesn?t want to walk into an office and walk out with denuded skin that?s going to be red and take weeks to heal. Patients treated with CoolBreeze laser can walk into the office, get a treatment and walk out and go back to work. There are no harmful effects to the skin at all.

The CoolBreeze laser couples a cooling pulse of cryogen for epidermal protection with pulses of laser energy for the treatment of facial and neck rhytides.? The cooling pulse of cryogen, delivered moments before the laser energy, and the 1320nm wavelength allows for a 20-minute procedure without any pre- or post-treatment care or interruption of normal patient activity, making this the first true lunchtime peel.?

The CoolBreeze laser stimulates the fibroblasts to make more collagen.? The cooling protects the skin so that the laser can selectively heat up the fibroblasts and the collagen fibers underneath the skin.

Treated patients start to see cosmetic improvement in about four weeks.? The typical patient requires 4 to 5 treatments, performed about one month apart.

Quick Cooling

The 1320nm Nd:YAG CoolBreeze laser selectively heats subsurface layers of the skin. A hand-piece that combines cooling collagen spray also controls the laser energy. A thermal feedback sensor ensures that only subsurface tissue is treated, sparing the epidermis.

Even though energy in the 1100 to 1600nm range can still heat the epidermis enough to cause damage, the non-contact cooling method of the CoolBreeze laser quickly cools the top 50 to 100?m of skin. This laser has been developed with a retro-feedback mechanism so that it measures the temperature of the skin continuously. If the skin gets too warm, the laser won?t fire.

New collagen formation is observed around the fibroblasts after treatment. In addition, fibroblasts are more numerous and are more active and productive following CoolBreeze laser treatment. Clinically our patients notice that their skin is smoother with less fine wrinkling. Treatments using the new Nd:YAG laser typically require no anesthesia.

CoolBreeze Questions and Answers

What is CoolBreeze skin rejuvenation?
The CoolBreeze skin treatment is a revolutionary way to combat the signs of aging. This non-invasive laser procedure stimulates smoother, healthier looking skin without the extensive investment of time and money required by other skin resurfacing treatments.

What does it do?
The CoolBreeze treatment uses an infrared laser together with our proprietary cooling process to rejuvenate your skin from the inside out. There are no harsh chemicals. No long recovery times. Just younger looking skin.

How does it work?
CoolBreeze?s revolutionary approach to skin rejuvenation combines a cooling cryogen spray and a YAG laser to give you the optimal results with the least inconvenience. The protective cooling spray is applied to the skin, allowing the CoolBreeze laser light to pass harmlessly through the upper layers of your skin to stimulate the cells deep below the surface that produce natural collagen. The collagen and elastin fibers continue to multiply after your treatment, and you will continue to see improved results over the months ahead.

How is it different than other anti-aging treatments?
The CoolBreeze laser treatment is unlike any other skin resurfacing treatment. Your skin is not subjected to harsh chemicals or the intense after-care of CO2 and Erbium lasers. Our patented technology protects the sensitive surface layers of your skin, allowing the laser light to penetrate to a deeper level and stimulate new collagen growth.

Does the CoolBreeze treatment hurt?
The CoolBreeze laser treatment can be performed on any facial areas?around the eyes, mouth, cheeks, skin?with minimal discomfort. A topical anesthetic cream can be used on extra sensitive areas, so no injections are needed.

How long does a treatment take?
The CoolBreeze treatment is so quick and easy, many patients come in for a treatment during the lunch hour. The treatment takes between 15-30 minutes, and there are virtually no side effects. You can reapply your make-up right away and carry on with your day. No one will ever know.

How many treatments are needed and how long does it last?
Clinical studies suggest that an average of 4-5 treatments is needed to stimulate new collagen growth. We also recommend regular touch up treatments every 6-12 months to sustain the continued growth of new collagen.
